comments:
Helen Hunt has a unique quiet beauty about her, and she's smart. There is nothing like being with a beautiful woman you can't talk to, right Leonardo?

She played Jamie E. Buchman on NBC's Mad About You, a scientist in Twister and won an Oscar for As Good As It Gets with Jack Nicholson.

Waterdance, The (1992)

Title: Waterdance, The
Released: 1992
Genre: Drama
Runtime: 106 min
Country: USA
Language: English

Tagline: Imagine being trapped inside your own body. Imagine being set free.

Plot Summary: An oft overlooked film about struggling to deal with paralysis. Author Joel Garcia breaks his neck while hiking, and finds himself in a rehab center with Raymond, an exaggerating ladies man, and Bloss, a racist biker. Considerable tension builds as each character tries to deal with his new found handicap and the problems that go with it, especially Joel, whose lover Anna is having as difficult a time as he is. As Raymond reveals a dream about dancing on the surface of a lake to stay afloat, it becomes apparent that each of them must find his own Waterdance to survive his tragedy.

Comments: Eric Stoltz, Wesley Snipes and William Forsythe play three very different men brought together into a hospital ward after each of them has received a paralyzing injury. This is a great film based on the true life experiences of writer/co-director Neil Jiminez. This isn't your typical, sappy, uplifting film about men overcoming personal tragedy. The characters here aren't idealized. They aren't saints. They are alternately angry, confused, prejudiced, self-pitying or funny: in other words, real human beings. This is perhaps the best film ever about men in wheelchairs, but don't let that image scare you. This film is both funny and poignant. Don't miss it.

Scene Description: Helen Hunt nude as she lays on top of a guy and he sucks on her spectacular breasts. We then get a great shot of her butt as she stands up and walks off, returning shortly and showing us her great breasts again.

Personal quotes

"I know for me the subject of how to be in a relationship is precious and complicated and challenging. It wouldn't be right to make it look too easy."

"Wounded vanity knows when it is mortally hurt; and limps off the field, piteous, all disguises thrown away. But pride carries its banner to the last; and fast as it is driven from one field unfurls it in another, never admitting that there is a shade less honor in the second field than in the first, or in the third than in the second."

"All summer she scattered the daisy leaves; They only mocked her as they fell. She said: "The daisy but deceives; 'He loves me not,' 'he loves me will,' One story no two daisies tell." Ah foolish heart, which waits and grieves Under the daisy's mocking spell."

"But all lost things are in the angels' keeping, Love; No past is dead for us, but only sleeping, Love; The years of Heaven with all earth's little pain Make Good Together there we can begin again In babyhood."

"When the baby dies, On every side Rose stranger's voices, hard and harsh and loud. The baby was not wrapped in any shroud. The mother made no sound. Her head was bowed That men's eyes might not see Her misery."
