comments:
Juliette Lewis has the reputation of an off-the-wall, crazy character who loves to live on the edge. Aside from this alluring attribute, she has always been sexy in a dangerous, hard-to-get sort of way. An established Hollywood actress, this hottie continues to impress with great performances.

Lewis has been turning heads since adolescence, receiving an Oscar nomination for her role in Cape Fear when she was 18. This was followed up with starring roles in What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Natural Born Killers and From Dusk Till Dawn. Lewis was also strong in Showtime's My Louisiana Sky, and then returned to film for Enough, Old School and Cold Creek Manor.

Title: Picture Claire
Released: 2001
Genre: Thriller
Runtime: 91 min
Country: USA / Canada

Plot Summary: Juliette Lewis and Gina Gershon star in this thriller directed by Bruce McDonald. When Claire (Lewis) finds herself involved in a case of mistaken identity, she must clear her name to survive. The film, set in Toronto, also features Callum Keith Rennie, Mickey Rouke, and Camille Rutherford.

Comments: Tasty and original. An exceptional performance by Lewis in the lead. Also, Mickey Rourke and Camilla Rutherford tear ass in their cameo and supporting roles, respectively. The film is quite simply gorgeous. The colors are rich and the edits are sharp. And this is not to downplay the story, which is entralling. This film is a euphoric ride which will keep you intoxicated until well after the last credits roll.

Scene Description: Juliette Lewis sitting on a bed wearing only panties as she pulls on some stockings, her bare breasts visible in the process.

Trivia
Sister of actors Lightfield Lewis and Dierdre Lewis

Legally emancipated from her parents at age 14.

Dropped out of high school just three weeks after starting.

Arrested for being underage in an underground dance club at age 16. The arresting officer, who recognized her dad when he picked her up at the station, gave Juliette her mug shot (the charges were dropped), which now hangs, poster-size, in her home (this picture can be seen at Fan Page)

Drove without driver's license until she was 21. She owned a car bought under a friend's name and had been driving illegally since age 15. Eventually got a license after she got caught not stopping at a stop sign.

Father almost named her "Snow Lake".

. Dated actor Brad Pitt. They met making the TV Movie Too Young to Die? (1990) (TV) [Sep 1989 - Feb 1993]

Daughter of Geoffrey Lewis.

Chosen by Empire magazine as one of the 100 Sexiest Stars in film history (#75). [1995]

Played a suicidal mental patient in the music video for the Melissa Etheridge song "Come to my Window." Lewis' erractic behaviour frightened the director to the point where he yelled "Cut!" several unecessary times for fear that Lewis had truly suffered a mental/emotional brakedown.

Her song from Natural Born Killers was used in another song, "Bad Brother", by The Infidels.

Auditioned for the role played by Winona Ryder in "Beetlejuice"

Fronts a rock band called "Juliette Lewis and the Licks" which is touring on Van's Warped Tour in 2004.

Personal quotes

"Fame can be just so annoying because people are so critical of you. You can't just say 'hi'. You say hi and people whisper 'Man, did you see the way she said Hi. What an attitude.'"

"Just 'cause I'm in the same age bracket as Johnny Depp and Leo Dicaprio doesn't mean we all screw together."

"Just to buck the system in California, I bought a Mazda for $6,000 when I was 15 without even bothering to get a license."
