comments:
Linda's masterful take on the "tough and hot" look in the first two Terminator movies is unsurpassable. She don't take no guff.

Aside from Terminator I and II -- her most famous movies -- Linda has appeared in dozens of films, TV shows and movies, and plays, including the late '80s series Beauty and the Beast.

. Linda Hamilton

Terminator, The (1984)

Title: Terminator, The
Released: 1984
Genre: Sci-Fi / Thriller / Action
Runtime: 108 min
Country: USA
Language: English / Spanish

Tagline: In the Year of Darkness, 2029, the rulers of this planet devised the ultimate plan. They would reshape the Future by changing the Past. The plan required something that felt no pity. No pain. No fear. Something unstoppable. They created 'THE TERMINATOR'

Plot Summary: A cyborg assassin called "The Terminator" is sent back through time to 1984 to kill the seemingly innocent Sarah Connor-a woman whose unborn son will lead the human race to victory in a bitter future war with a race of machines. If the Terminator succeeds, mankind is doomed. Sarah's only hope is a soldier from that post-apocalyptic war, who has chased the Terminator back through time. The future of the human race depends on which one finds her first..

Comments: Excellent! One of Schwarzenegger's best! I first saw this action picture in 1998. I was terrified by Arnold Schwarzenegger's supreme acting. But, when I recently saw it, after six years, I was totally amazed at Linda Hamilton and Michael Biehn's performances. They were very excellent. But my one pet peeve is the special effects. They are terrible! But, it was the 80's! Overall, the performances save this picture from doom.

Scene Description: Linda Hamilton having her breasts squeezed during a love scene.

Trivia
Daughter, with Cameron, Josephine Archer Cameron born 15 February 1993.

Son, with Abbot, Dalton Abbott born 4 October 1989.

Linda is an LA Dodgers fan.

Linda went to Wicomico Junior High, Salisbury, Maryland, with her identical twin sister, Leslie Hamilton Gearren' .

She reprised her Terminator 2 character, Sarah Connor, for the theme park attraction T2-3D, a short film filmed in a new 3-D process that makes the film really appear to jump out at you.

While attending Washington College, the acting professor told her she had no hope of earning a living as an actress.

After her role in Terminator 2, she learned that she made such an impression as the pumped and ferociously tough Sarah Conner that she was typecast into being offered only roles for similarly tough characters.

Turned down role in Terminator 3.

Her identical twin sister 'Leslie Hamilton Gearran' was Linda's double in Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991). Leslie is seen when Sarah is remembering playing with John at the park and when the T-1000 is impersonating her.

Sprained her ankle prior to filming the original "The Terminator" (1984) and it never quite healed right due to all the running she had to do in the film.

Personal quotes

"My heart is so light that it's amazing. I get to play all this grief, all this loss, all this disaster and chaos. It's hysterically funny. I am very light. I keep saying I'm Lucy Ricardo trapped in somebody else's body."

(At the 1997 Oscars, about then-husband James Cameron): "My husband is the sexiest man in the world."
