In between, she followed a downward spiral of drug abuse and failed relationships. Comments: I saw Gia about 2 years ago after a friend told me about it. I already loved Angelina Jolie, so I thought I'd rent it. So one night I did. After watching, I loved Angelina even more. Damn those lips! But not just that, the story behind this tragic tale of a model was so interesting. After watching the movie, I looked up more about the real Gia Carangi...she was a very beautiful model...to be honest Angelina looks nothing like her, but the personality was there.
