Comments:
Watching
this movie is kind of like looking at a piece of abstract
art. At first glance, one may discover what it means
with ease, while it may take others many more glances.
And for the simple minds that lack creativity, they
will never discover its meaning. An important thing
to note, Lynch was a surrealist painter before making
films, and it heavily reflects in his films. He is
the most creative storyteller I have yet seen in the
film industry.
I think the many characters, eccentric as they may
be, give flawless performances. It's the first film
I've seen with Naomi Watts in it, and she is now my
favorite actress. She gives an unbelievable performance,
having to take on multiple character changes throughout
the film.
Remember that film is an art form, and very few directors
realize that, and that's why their films bomb horribly.
It's quite obvious why Lynch rarely comes out with
a movie. For those interested, if you haven't seen
his old TV series Twin Peaks, check it out. It's much
simpler, but still involves his surreal creepy surrealism.
Anyways, I won't ramble any further. Go watch the
movie. You'll still love it even you don't understand
it. It being my favorite movie of all time and probably
will be until I die, I will rate it highly. 10/10

A great lesbian scene of Naomi Watts straddling Laura

kiss and Naomi begins to finger Laura.
