Plot
Summary: The beautiful O is taken by her
boyfriend, Rene, to a bizarre retreat, where she is
trained in bondage and sexual perversion. Rene discharges
a personal debt by transferring possession of O to
his step-brother, Sir Stephen...

in the UK for nearly 25 years before being shown under
a Camden London licence at one cinema in the West
End, THE STORY OF O is as typical of the 70's porn
movies as you can get. Basically the bizarre scenario
sees an attractive woman, O (Corinne Clery, sexy whether
clothed or not), who is sent to a secluded mansion
where she undergoes conditioning by S & M to become
a better lover to her partner. As it stands, she readily
submits to the processes and on her release she returns
to the city and her existence.
Curious
to watch and unusual entertainment at the best of
times, THE STORY OF O provides more of a historical
document to the genre in question. Not for all tastes
and sensitivities.
