Smart, good-looking, talented redheads are hard to find, unless
you count Carrot Top as having the aforementioned attributes.

"Sopranos,
The" [TV-Series]
|
Title:
Sopranos, The (episode:
"D-Girl")
Released: 1999
(First Season)
Genre: Crime /
Drama
Runtime: 60 min
Country: USA
Language: English
Plot
Summary: An innovative look at the life
of fictional Mafia Capo Tony Soprano, this serial
is presented largely first person, but additional
perspective is conveyed by the intimate conversations
Tony has with his psychotherapist. We see Tony at
work, at home, and in therapy. Moments of black comedy
intersperse this aggressive, adult drama, with adult
language, and extreme violence.
Comments:
Phenomenal drama about the two lives that Tony Soprano
must lead. If some character seem cliched it is only
because the actor fall so effortlessly into the roles,
especially Edie Falco whose scream for her son to
get out of bed could send chills up the spine of any
kid who ever hasn't wanted to go to school. The writing
is smart, and occasionally the shows bizzarre plots
go into strange Quentin Tarantino territory. Sadly,
most male fans (I'm one of them) will admire Tony
Soprano too much. You won't find a more feared or
respected guy, but on th einside he still has his
doubts and huge insecutiries, something every mail
can relate to. And theres something abou the mafia
that has always caught our imagination, probably because
it shows people doing what we wish we could... living
inside a world without rules, acting on impulse and
with impunity. How many of us wish that annoying little
thing called conscience wouldnt get in the way when
we want to kill one of our close friends? or that
we could just throw money at women without care for
cost or consequence. These guys live in the ultimate
fatasy world, and its fasinating to watch it painfully
clash with the real world all too often. Drama doesn't
get any better than this.
