Comments: I liked this film- I saw it to catch a bit player Larry Holden - but Charles and Heche make this a passable romantic movie. It was just offbeat enough- romance between a sky jockey and a modern dancer to be appealing... and the side bar- the lusty landlady added to the humor... a nice variant to boy loves girl, boy loses girl and then gets her back.... Words really can't capture the experience of watching this film. They can try, but they won't make it. The plot is so convoluted that to claim it makes no sense is like stating that Ed Wood movies "aren't very good". Go and rent this film, and watch it because it is "peachy". In 1952, when abortion was illegal, a nurse deals with her unexpected pregnancy and takes drastic measures to get one. In 1974 a family housewife with four children discovers that she's pregnant and decides she can't handle another child to raise. In 1996, a pregnant college student decides on an abortion, but doesn't realize the means to go through to get one. Comments: BRILLIANT!!! This is one of the most disturbing movies I've ever seen. I don't care where you stand on the abortion issue, this movie is a must. Demi Moore, Sissy Spacek, and Anne Heche deliver wonderful performances of women facing the issue for the period of time they were set in. Comments: A pretty good mystery/thriller... With the usual plot twists that keep you interested. An added bonus is Ann Heche (and many other actresses) in some graphic shower scenes. I liked it, for some light entertainment.
