Plot
Summary: In a future world where Earth's
ozone layer has been completely destroyed, a brilliant
but obsessed scientist, Hank Symes uses illegally
obtained biological materials for an experiment that
he hopes will save the world. In the course of his
work, a terrible accident occurs, transforming him
into a fantastic otherworldly lifeform and changing
his house into a huge living entity which threatens
all who enter.
Comments:
Unique plot. One of a kind movie plot - parents so
naturally-and-biologically advanced that they can
metamorph into bug-like points of light that though
ethereal, can actually be lethal. The plot saves the
story, with its premise that in a Sun-damaged earth,
Man needs to change himself biologically to survive.
The acting can be said to be good, just average, although
there are flashes of brilliance at times from Balthazar
Getty and Alice Krige.
Scene
Description:
Laura Harris of The Faculty fame seen here topless as
she makes out with a guy in a pool of water.
