The Government sends in an elite military task force lead by Alice (Jovovich) and Rain (Rodriguez) to contain the virus in three hours before it escapes and infects the rest of the world. But all their training couldn't have prepared them for what they were going to encounter... Comments: I love this movie! I like the story, characters, plot and storyline! Milla Jovovich is great as the female heroine. The zombies are cool, the laser scene, and the licker. I like the twist near the end, and the ending is the perfect intro to the sequel. Forget what others have said about the movie, just watch this movie for the fun of it! While it may not be as gory as the zombie movies in the past, it is still good, and this movie doesn't just incorporate zombies, but other enemies in the games as well. so its more than just a zombie movie. If you are a hardcore zombie lover then you might not like it, but otherwise its very entertaining! If you get into the character's I'm sure you'll like the film. My Grade = A. This 1992 Tristar Pictures release chronicles the life and times of screen comedy legend Charlie Chaplin who's portrayed here by Robert Downey Jr. Downey gives a mostly credible performance in this lengthy biopic which covers the majority of Chaplin's life and goes over several life and film career highlights. Several of Chaplin's closest associates are also depicted among an all star cast. These include Dan Aykroyd as Mack Sennett, Geraldine Chaplin as Charlie's mother, Kevin Kline as Douglas Fairbanks, Diane Lane as Paulette Goddard and Marisa Tomei as Mabel Normand. Comments: Simply magnificent. A smart nevertheless unforgettable tale of a prisoner (Denzel Washington), who is offered a chance to have his prison sentence reduced if he can persuade his estranged and bitter son (Ray Allen), a highly sought after college basketball recruit, to sign a letter of intent for the governor's favorite college in one week. Writer-director Spike Lee dishes out a simply magnificent story of the never-ending (and outrageous) offers that the son has presented to him besides trying to confront his father. The message that this movie is willing to make isn't forced, but only displayed in such unsettling detail. Washington is fine and Allen himself holds his ground here fairly well. They grow up, and the widow teaches them from the bible, as well as from her own knowledge, including the facts of life. When they are about eight, she dies, leaving them to finish raising themselves. They grow up, and as young adults, they fall in love and exchange formal wedding vows and rings. Soon after, a ship arrives at the island, carrying unruly sailors, a stuffy captain, and his beautiful daughter Sylvia. They offer to bring them back to civilization. Sylvia tries to steal Richard from Lilli, but as tempted as he is by her strangeness, he realises that Lilli is his heart and soul, upsetting Sylvia. Richard is forced to lure a sailor to his death on the reef, or be killed by him. He apologises to Lilli for hurting her, and she reveals that she is pregnant. Comments: I think Return to the Blue Lagoon is the greatest love story ever made. The plot, characters, and setting was just great.
